CLAT Exam is a pen and paper-based, 150 mark exam that is conducted every year. Since 2020, the exam pattern has changed. 150 questions are asked from 5 subjects, i.e., English. CLAT Preparation Strategy

    1. Syllabus

The most crucial part of any exam, especially the CLAT Exam, is proper knowledge of the prescribed syllabus. The candidates are advised to go thoroughly through the contents of the syllabus and then plan their resources accordingly. Without knowing what the exam requires the candidates to prepare for, one cannot choose the right strategy for the CLAT Exam.

    2. Choosing the right resources

The market is full of resources to study from, and one tends to get confused about the right resource naturally. No resource is right or wrong because, ultimately, everything depends on how consistent the candidates are with their routine and how well they can retain the content they have studied. The best strategy is to choose one or two resources for each section and stick to it until the end. Revising one resource or book multiple times is far better than going through numerous resources just once or twice.

    3. Previous year papers

The best way to judge what to study and how much time you should give to each section is going through the previous year’s question papers of the CLAT Exam. These papers give you an idea of the weightage each section carries and the importance of the different topics within that section. The candidates can thus prepare and focus accordingly.

    4. Mock tests and revision

Time management during the exam and how many questions one can attempt accurately is what matters the most. No candidate can know each question in the exam, so choosing the right questions and solving those with maximum accuracy can get you through the CLAT Exam. Solving mock tests before the main exam is the best judge of your overall performance, and analyzing these tests can further enhance your score on the final day.
