Marie Curie high school - Saigon.

Marie Curie High School is a public high school in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established in 1918 and named after the Nobel prize-winning scientist Marie Curie by the French colonial government, it remains the sole high school in Saigon that still bears its original name.
Founded in 1918 as an all-girls school, it began accepting boys in 1970. In 1997, it was turned into a semi-public high school. In the recent past, it was one of the largest high schools in Vietnam, with around 5000 students in regular attendance. In 2007, it became a public high school.

The school is one of the few that still offers French as a foreign language course.

Marie Curie in my heart.

High school was always the best time in life. I'm no longer a little girl, yet, I'm not an adult with the huge amount of thing to worry.
Somehow I regret, somehow in my heart, I feel something wasn't completed. I left Marie Curie in the beginning of senior year, I couldnt have the change to enjoy the hardest but most beautiful year there.

Marie Curie is one of the biggest high school in Ho Chi Minh. Compare with high school over here, it's nothing...Yah yah yah, but it doesnt matter at all. Marie Curie is prettier :D lols. Love that place, love the "I" back at that time, love all the ppl over there.

It holds my unforgetable memories. It's where I know what's call "first love". It's the place where I live in full happiness....Just miss MC, just miss the silly-sweet love....Just...my memory!!!!!!

The day I left, I lose it. The day I left, I lose him. The day I left, I lose mysefl. If I ever had a wish, I wish for time to come back, I wish to spend those moments one again in my life. Someday when I come back, will I find what I have lost behind.....???

Marie Skłodowska Curie (7 November 1867 – 4 July 1934) was a Polish-born French physicist and chemist famous for her work on radioactivity. She was a pioneer in the field of radioactivity and the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes[1]—in physics and chemistry. She was also the first female professor at the University of Paris.
She was born Maria Skłodowska in Warsaw (then in Vistula Land, Russian Empire; now in Poland) and lived there until she was twenty-four. In 1891, she followed her older sister Bronisława to study in Paris, where she obtained her higher degrees and conducted her subsequent scientific work. She founded the Curie Institutes in Paris and Warsaw. Her husband Pierre Curie shared her Nobel prize in physics. Her daughter Irène Joliot-Curie and son-in-law, Frédéric Joliot-Curie, also shared a Nobel prize. She was the sole winner of the 1911 Nobel Prize for Chemistry. Curie was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and she is the only woman to win the award in two different fields and only person to win the award in multiple sciences.
Her achievements include the creation of a theory of radioactivity (a term she coined[2]), techniques for isolating radioactive isotopes, and the discovery of two new elements, polonium and radium. Under her direction, the world's first studies were conducted into the treatment of neoplasms (cancers) using radioactive isotopes.
While an actively loyal French citizen, she never lost her sense of Polish identity. She named the first new chemical element that she discovered polonium (1898) for her native country,[3] and in 1932 she founded a Radium Institute (now the Maria Skłodowska–Curie Institute of Oncology) in her home town, Warsaw, headed by her physician sister Bronisława.
