Thread: new manga suggestions

I have several new manga suggestions:

NOW – 25 volumes finished
Very, very good. One of the best mangas in my opinion. Lovable characters, great action scenes, well written storyline, pace is good and art is simply gorgeous.

Guyver – 26 volumes so far.
This manga is ancient. I can remember reading it the first time when I was 13 or 14 years old. Story and art however can still compete effortlessly with more recent works, if not being even superior to many contemporary mangas. I don’t understand why it takes them so long to finish the story though. Last time I checked the manga must have been more than five or six years ago and I felt at that time that the story was reaching its climax.

Vinland Saga, supposed to be very promising.

Yakitate Japan – 26 volumes finished
If this manga is as crazy and fun as the anime, then this manga is a must.

Astro Boy – 23 volumes finished
A classic… I was surprised not to be found at stoptazmo

Astro Boy - Tetsuwan Atom – 3 volumes finished
Sequel to the original Astro Boy manga.

Planet Blood – 10 volumes finished

Gosick – 6 to 7 volumes so far
Supposed to have a very thought-through storyline, very enjoyable as a whole.
