Thread: About Syaoran and CCS

I've been wondering something about R-Syaoran. Is he the Syaoran from Cardcaptor Sakura? In the time he was imprisoned, is it the time when he left Sakura at the end to return to Chaina, only to come back years later? The reason I think it might be so is because when we first see him imprisoned, he's still young like when he left Sakura. When we actually meet him, he is about the same age he is when he returns to Sakura. Any thoughts?

Why would that mean that he's the Syaoran from CCS? Wouldn't that mean that he was off with Sakura before being trapped, and then is with Sakura again instead of running around looking for her feathers? And wouldn't he therefore know two Sakuras? No, they're definitely not the same person.

However, it seems very likely that CCS-Syaoran is a Syaoran from another world, just like all those other familiar CLAMP people you see during Tsubasa.

What I mean is that after the whole Tsubasa mess is over with, if he is CCS-Syaoran, he returns to be with the Sakura he knows. After all, we don't actually know what business he had to take care of back in China. He could have been captured then. Time runs differently in worlds so it could be possible.

well I dunno about that, but I think Yuuko has hinted in xxxholic that Syaoran and Sakura from ccs are living in the same world as Watanuki, when he founds the staff replica in the treasure room

If he was CCS-Syaoran, he'd be thinking about the regular Sakura. Is it in xxxHOLiC that Sakura's transforming wand thing can be seen in Yuuko's storeroom? It's much more likely that the CCS characters live in a separate world. It would also fit with the other couples we've seen, who have stayed together despite their world; Syaoran having two girlfriends with the same soul just doesn't work.

If Clow of CCS is the same Clow of XXXholic/TRC, the Syaorans would probably be the same too. Original Syaoran has been stated to be his relative (Just like Syaoran was Clow's relative in CCS).

Well Clow is special in that he probably is the most powerful character in this world. Clow like the dimensional witch might have the capability to visit different realms. But i dont think it is wise to say there is only one clow. Maybe clow had the ability to communicate w/ clows of other worlds. Who knows? What is known is clow is extremely powerful, i would say even more powerful than yuuko.

Digital Eon is right concerning this matter involving syaoran. The CCS syaoran is not the same one as in TRC.

yeah I think Clow is more powerful than Yuuko too, and I am sure is not the same cuz when the staff thing happened Yuuko said something about them not being the same sakura and syaoran

I think Yuuko was talking about the Syaoran and Sakura that came to the shop. They were the clone and Sakura from Clow Country, so they aren't the ones from CCS. But IMO its too early to know if original Syaoran is CCS or not. CLAMP can bend the story as they wish ^^
