I think that the origional Syaoran IS the CCS Syaoran.

There's alot of references to Clow Reed as the one guy. Constantly refered to in ways that just implies, to me, that it's the same one as the one in CCS. And Syaoran being related makes me feel he is the Syaoran from CCS. He's not neccessarily seeing Sakura now either. I mean from what I see, he feels close to her just from the fact she's similar to the normal, but he also feels like he's slightly distancing himself from her at the same time.

I honestly believe he's the Syaoran from CCS. XD

I wanted to think that this Shaoran is the CCS Shaoran too (similar blood heritage, magic and sword ... but the CCS Shaoran is definitely not as powerful), and that he has his own Sakura waiting for him. Then we could get a happy ending where this Sakura ends up with clone Shaoran, and original Shaoran goes back to his own Sakura.

BUT ...

Going back to the first volume of xxxHolic, chapter 3 page 5, Youko mentions that she has never met CCS Sakura nor Shaoran. On the next page, she says that she'll meet them soon -- not the same ones, but them nonetheless.

This also means that the original Shaoran (whom she must have met already when he paid his previous price for Watanuki) is not the CCS Shaoran either.

Hm. Real Syaoran has a very good chance of being CCS Syaoran. It would help to explain why he has a thing for Tsubasa Sakura as just watching her out of his right eye isn't a really good explaination. They share similar powers as well. My guess is CCS Sakura died when CCS Syaoran was captured. As such he wants to protect the Tsubasa Sakura as they are so similar. As for the witches comments. Syaoran might never have met the witch to pay the price. It might have been his parents or it may have been a result of his bloodline. I hope it is true as it would really tie together a lot of Clamp works.

Hm at first I was sure CC Shaoran and real shaoran from tsubasa are the same now I'm really not sure about that. However they are bound to be connected in some way NOT just in the usual Tsubasa way

- The world of XXholic is world od card captor as stated by Yuko.
- so Clow red whose decendant both Shaoran from cc and Sahoran from tsubasa are relatives is the same clow as one from Tsubasa [at least that is what Yuko said]

- Watanuki is a person from the same world and he is connected to Shaoran

- At first I had this really nasty theory that Shaoran from tsubasa is actually Sahoran from Card captor it just that many yaears after the card captor, and that real Sakura died killed by Fei Wong Reed at the same time when Shaoran was imprisoned. I also was thinking that Watanuki is actually son of Sakura and Shaoran from Card captor and that is way real Shaoran cares for him so much.

Now I know it is imposible as someone pointed out that Shaoran was imprisoned since he was very small . However I didn't give up the relative theory comletly what if there actually quite a lot of time passed between events of card captor and Tsubasa and Real Shaoran is actually a son of Sakura and Shaoran from card captor this way he would be a relative of clow reed cand could still very well look his father

Actually you guys who believe that CCS Syaoran is the same as R Syaoran are wrong, as Clamp has stated over and over again that Tsubasa will not cross over into any finished publications of CLAMP. They also stated that Tsubasa was neither a sequal nor a spin off off cardcaptor sakura, making R Syaoran the CCS Syaoran would be doing both of these things.

-In xxxholic watanuki states that he would like to meet the syaoran and sakura from ccs, mind you this is after he met r syaoran.

-yuko also states that they are together as sakura and syaoran were both in junior high school when they reunited.

-Syaoran is not the decendant of Clow Reed in CCS he is merely his distant relative don't get the two mixed up. Clow had no children in CCS otherwise Kero and Yue would know about them.

-CCS Sakura is also too strong to be killed so easily by Clow Reed that would not only destroy the ending of CCS, which again goes against the Clamp all of CLamp's previous statements. but she would also have to be killed at around 8-10 years old which was Syaoran's age when he was captured, as it is also the age of the clone met the Sakura in Clow kingdom. Syaoran stayed with Sakura until he was about 11-12 years. Also here is something you forgot Sakura in the CCS world can see the future as well, she is also a powerful soceress, and is surrounded by powerful people the chances of her being killed are slim to none.

-Also CCS Sakura is too powerful to not know whether or not Syaoran her most beloved person was kidnapped, or that Fei Wong Reed was up to something, again she can see the future.

Bottom line is that Tsubasa gave an important rule in the first chapter that you guys are all ignoring even though they look the same, and have the same soul, they are not the same person, this rule has since been followed with all of the other characters so how should Syaoran be any different?

Plus I said that based on feeling with what I read in Tsubasa and Tsubasa alone really, with a little reference to CCS cus thats what I was mentioning, obviously. Err but yeah I didnt know about the CLAMP statement 'nor have I read xxxHolic so &#172;_&#172;
