Thread: Fay's second curse

Fei Wong Reed, aka the bad guy, seemed confident about the second curse, and it might be something dangerous if even Fay's memories about the curse were erased.
It can be only triggered in Celes and it would have been activated if Kurogane didn't kill Ashura in the place of Fay...

Perhaps after the death of Ashura its Fay the one that becomes a killer-for-power like the king was (But then he is heroically saved by Kurogane and Syaoran like the king predicted!)

Any idea or theory?

I dunno, maybe has to do something with yuuko or the syaoran clon

hope he doesn't become that kind of killer cuz I really like fai

Where was it written that Fai's memory about the second curse were erased?

I always thought that it was the first curse that is activated only in Celes - the one about twins bringing misfortune.

As for the second one - the one Fei Wong Reed made - this was about killing Sayoran, if I understood correctly.

What I uderstood while reading is:
- 1st curse: "Kill those with more magical power" that Ashura knew, Yuuko knew, Sakura knew and (of course) Fei Wong knew. Ashura intended to trigger this curse to make Fay kill him, Yuuko was on a different dimension when they first met (That why Fay stated that her clothes weren't wet even when it was raining) and Sakura triggered the curse to make Fay attack her and save that way the original Syaoran that was getting his powers back after the sealing.
- 2nd curse: Yet to be known, can only be triggered in Celes and it wouldn't be able to activate if Fay was Ashura's killer. (So we will see what it is, as Kurogane was the one who killed Ashura).

According to spoilers from chapter 166 Kurogane cuts down his left arm in order to save Yuui from the second curse.

mm he does??, but didnt he cut his arm off so that fei can be saved after his eye was dug out??...

Well, my firm belief is that the second curse, which is only to be activated in Celes, and only if Ashura isn't killed by Fai (which happened) has to do with Fai not being able to leave the country...or sth like that. Though CLAMP don't set it very clear...

To my knowledge, the second curse was thee in the event that the first one fails - if Fai doesn't kill Syaoran but in Celes somebody other than Fai kills Ashura, then they are all supposed to die when Celes is swallowed up.
