    Well. Tsubasa Chronicles contains 'some' characters from the other anime/manga CardCaptor Sakura in their older versions however this story isn't connected to that other story in anyway whatsoever.

    Tsubasa Chronicles is also sort-of a crossover with XXXholic however, you do not have to read XXXholic to understand Tsubasa Chronicles.

    Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is about Sakura & Syaoran. Sakura is a princess-- and Syaoran is her childhood friend. Anyways, I read it a long time ago. But Sakura lost her memories-- and it became 'magical feathers' or something and Syaoran made it his goal to retrieve her memories. However, there is a catch. The catch is-- although Syaoran may be able to regain Sakura's memories-- she will never remember him. Sakura's memories (the feathers) are magical and spread in different dimensions/worlds so Syaoran has to travel with Sakura to retrieve them. They get comrads on the way-- meet different people and stuff like that. Okay, I made a corny summary and probably left out a lot of things-- but, if you want, you can try googling a summary about it, they probably have better ones out there.. somewhere.

    Watch or read it when you want. ;D It isn't bad and I love the art. -Sighs-

    ...Just read it. 98. -___-;;

    Tsubasa is a CLAMP crossover manga, essentially. In Clow Country, some strange ruins were discovered. An unusual event in them causes the princess Sakura to lose her memories, which she must regain to prevent her death. Her childhood friend, Syaoran, takes her to the Witch of Dimensions (Yuuko, from xxxHOLiC) where they meet with two others. Kurogane was sent away from his country by his princess because he fought too often; Fai had finished sealing King Ashura (I think that's his name?), and doesn't want to return. They each give up a precious item (Syaoran gives up Sakura's memories of him) in order to travel through dimensions to find Sakura's memory-feathers.

    It gets more complicated, but essentially, that's the story. It gets darker around chapter 120-something.

    It really is awesome, though. Unlike some shounen series, Tsubasa has gotten BETTER with time. There were still plenty of unknowns well into the series, for instance, and characters are not even invulnerable. It has its comedy moments and serious moments, and lovely art, too. <3 And even though there will probably be a gay couple, it's just CLAMP; it doesn't have yaoi for the sake of yaoi.

    It's true, it really is getting better - I'm on volume 17 right now and compared to earlier volumes story is much more interesting! And good character design to that, and good jokes, and not banal seriousness - everything is good.

    Although I would hate yaoi pairing in any case...

    Oh yeah, that's the good part. XD Tsubasa really does have a great mix of everything, and I do like how things were fairly light at first and then slowly grew darker - although you should be reading the complete change of tone right now.

    Fai and Kurogane are a pretty good (unofficial?) couple, though. ^^;;

    No matter how much you try, you'll never make me say yes!And I stand firmly on what I just stayted (a little quote for the sake of good times)!

    BTW, isn't it a good matherial for a poll thread like: do you like the idea of a certain yaoi couple in manga. Don't you think so?

    Well, all right, you don't have to like Kurogane and Fai. The main pairing is Sakura and Syaoran, anyway, which no one should have any problem with. They're so cute, too.
