i dunno, somehow i feel like it's lacking....i have to say in the chapter 135 discussion about maya i was wrong, she needed more screen time before this chapter...it's not bad, but i think OG should've done a 100 pages final chapter like FMA instead of "only" 70...

well, let's wait for the translation then...

    Fuck.

The fight was way too short. It was beyond lame and I knew that Nagi wouldn't be using so many of his powers. Though I'm amazed all Masataka lost one one hand.

It seems like Both Maya and Aya were needed to wake him up and I freakin said Souhaku was still alive.

Ugh. Like I said, not enough of all the loose ends were dealt with for the build up of this last chapter. Especially considering this is the last fight of the series and the most important one of all.

I knew it'd be a repeat of the last Mitsoumi vs Shin fight. God dammit I can't believe O!G had to redo the accidental killing again, and freakin Maya dies the exact same way Nagi's mom died. Why the hell does he make it so that Nagi is killing the people most important to him in life?

And why the heck did Maya save Souhaku? I don't get it. Was it because of Nagi's mom?

Plus, I knew it, 70+ pages was NOT enough for this manga's ending.

The ending sucked too. Damn, I've invested so many years into this manga, and to have it concluded like this is depressing.

Meh. Masataka basically became Luke Skywalker against Nagi, who was basically Darth Vader.

I guess Masataka was the strongest in terms of taking a pummeling and not dying while Maya ,Aya, and Souichiro were the ones to actually defeat Souhaku/Susanoo in the end.

And Nagi surviving? It would probably be a bit too sad if he died after all the crap he was put through his life. Aya has no romantic feelings for Masataka and still deeply in love with Souichiro. Emi and I think Mitsuomi are apparently both teachers at the academy, Bob is married and went back to the dreads with a hint of Bunshichi. The members of 'F' that were of high school age now attend the school. Maya is dead and there are no longer any red feather powers in the world, which means Aya lost her dragon's eye (the scene where Maya and Aya are standing in front of one another in the nude). Souichiro is still in love with Maya and doesn't feel right about starting anything with Aya. Madoka is no longer in love with Masataka.

It was a generic ending, but it seemed like Oh! Great just wanted to end it just to end it.

i also want to know what happened with Maya, why did she took that hit? and what happened to souhaku? and nagi lost his powers in the end, right?

It was a generic ending, but it seemed like Oh! Great just wanted to end it just to end it.
Well, he did end the main plot, which is what mattered, at least for me...

i knew he'd leave the romance subplot open...(and i'm sure he'll do the same with air gear)

i don't think there are other loose ends left...?(unless he created new ones in this chapter?)

i think she destroyed all the powers that souhaku accumulated. From the fight, Masataka didn't really win, fact is he would have gotten killed if not for Maya, Aya and Souichirou.

But technhically Nagi should still retain his Nagi blood and dragon gate. The manga ended the same it started. all those years invested for naught.

The True Warrior is Susanoo a.k.a. Souchiro when he's all red feather powered.

I'm not sure exactly why Maya took the hit, but assuming that the last time Souichiro hit him, Souhaku took over and ended up the same as before. The Amaterasu's gate would negate Souhaku's magic and influence over Souichiro's heart. Masataka was just the strongest that could take Susanoo's beating without dying right away and could pump a little extra ki into the Reiki that was already into Souhaku. I don't think it would ultimately kill him right away, but it seems that Maya dying might've been part of Ichiyo's plan. She held regret for not being able to save Shin.

If he was the True Warrior, who was the True Demon?

I guess the bit about Maya does make sense, but wouldn't she have been able to simply negate Souhaku's powers while Nagi killed him? I don't quiet understand why she needed to block the punch for Souhaku. What did she gaining by doing that? Did she need to get punched and die in order to neutralize all the powers Nagi had gained?

And was there any explanation as to what happened to the rest of the "F" group that they've fought before?

The whole True Warrior/True Demon thing isn't exactly a title given to a person. I believe it was how to describe the type of fighter a person was. For someone who was willing to kill, who lost control of theirselves just to defeat others then they were true demons. Those who could fight without killing others, being able to forgive and move on from the past could be considered a true warrior. If you recall back when Masataka and Bunshichi were both fighting against kyonshi Fu Chi'en (The chinese lightning guy for those that don't remember people by name), Masataka considered becoming a true demon, attempting to kill Fu Chien. Instead, he stopped his Earth Ki by knocking his foot up and struck him without exactly killing him.

I don't know about the rest of 'F'. I'm actually getting this info from a friend who reads/speaks japanese. Maybe they have it somewhere in the text?
