Because the white feathers teammed up to fight Susanoo while Makiko transfer her ki to Maya and boost the Amaterasu Gate. Saga Mask only saw an illusion of Souichiro blowing his intestines out. More or less, Souichiro's tap to Saga's abdomen was like someone powering up in any shounen and the weaker characters feel paralyzed or completely shaken from it.

Still, a nice chapter. To see the Takayanagi family fight together was awesome and about time Masataka did something besides stand there, saying 'Brother, Brother, Brother" for the past ten chapters.

I agree.

But in the end it means tha Mitsuomi double lost.
1° Cuz it's was his plan to make Nagi how he is and then kill but he failed cuz everybody had to tag in the fight.
2° Cuz it's most likely his main enemy(Maya) who didn't want that to happen that's gonna save the day.

I'am still wondering about the Tournament after that.
Mitsuomi and Maya are going to graduate, while I am pretty sure that Masa is going to be the new Head of the Takayanagis.
Mitsuomi will prolly let The Jyukenbuu win on purpose.

I hope the manga won't end cuz I wanna see Nagi, Bob( and Masa) abusing their Executioners privilegges. They used to be hoodlums.
