Rumored to be Souichiro beginning to absorb Souhaku and his power into himself). Basically, Souhaku wants Souichiro to be something more than a human, demon, or god could ever be or something around that ballpark.

IDK if its of any real importance, but they also gave a description of the three gods:

Amaterasu came from one dragon eye gave her power to Reiki in the past (Which is most likely the reason why Reiki possesses the same power neutralization ability.

Susanoo, the True Warrior, died splitting his power into the twelve families

The other dragon eye, Tsukiyomi, followed the path towards Hell.

From that description, it sounds like Tsukiyomi is leaning more towards Mitsuomi.

Actually think about it, With Maya, Souichiro, and Mitsuomi being the three gods would make some sense. They worked together before, when they broke into Souhaku's place and used that huge four headed tanshinkou, seeing as that move is basically the Kamehameha of the series. I don't think Dougen wanted to revive Tsukiyomi over Susanoo. They did bring in that Camera girl to scan Souichiro when he fought Kabane for data on him. Most people don't believe that Dougen couldn't control Souichiro or whoever the True Warrior is because he would have so many powers ( They stated that Souichiro has 99 abilities within him) that he wouldn't simply listen to whatever Dougen told him to do. however, we don't know much about Dougen and exactly how many clans with special abilities out there. I mean if Souichiro had 99 abilities, even with the seven common types of ki (Earth, Water, Fire, etc) and the entire Flying Phoenix, that definitely wouldn't come near 99 (The 100th probably the dragon eyes).

Hm, maybe it'd be Dougen manipulating the true warrior over actually controlling him through a special ability? Iono, just tossing that out there.

Well the 99 could be divided into the only Six Red Feathers Family.
For exemple:
The Natsume Family got: Dragon Eye, the thing with the cocroach(sorry spelling), Amaterasu and maybe more.
The Kabane Family got: Kabane Blade, Dragon Claw, Kabane Canon and I am pretty sure the Water Dragon is also a Kabane Branch and there is also maybe more.
It's probably also the case for the other Red Feathers Family except the Nagi Family cuz Souhaku said that they were the only Family without Branches.

Yeah, but they said that there were only 36 Branch familes as well as the twelve main families plus the seven elemental ki types. One clan has the dragon claw, another has the Blades itself and so forth. Even with that, that hardly reaches 49 abilities (excluding the dragon eyes). So where does the other 50 abilities come from?

even people from the main Families have different abilities.
Aya=Dragon Eyes
Maya=Amaterasu
Hirohiko=Kabane Blades
His sis=Kabane Canon.

Nah, all 6 families have 6 dragon gates. And each of the sub-families have abilities that derivates(new word) from the main families that they originate from. The only families with no sub families are the Nagi Family and the Kago family(but SOuhaku is the only member of that family). Every "Red Feather" doesn't have just particular ability.

But the main family and sub family get their abilities from the same dragon but the main families abilities are always superior to the sub because their blood is purer.

You didn't got my point.
I ment that even people from the same Family who aren't Branches can have different powers cuz Hadou wonders how Nagi can have 99 if there isn't that much Families of Red Featers.

wouldn't be because absorbed the lesser families for attack variations and alterations
say if the main family special techinque is used in conjunction with one or more of the lesser families
to make a more powerful/newer attack?

simpling adding to the attacks overall design/power

like in street fighter terry's power wave is upgraded to power gyser
while still keeping the original and the upgraded version
