Apparently it's the same o'l story. Mitsoumi/masataka talk, Nagi fights, then back to Mitsoumi/Masataka. Also only 24 pages. ;_;

Damn! Beat me to it. Crazy Masataka eye (I heard that it looked more like Inue, but she hasn't been seen since 96). You would expect it to be more focused on Nagi this chapter than the Takayanagi brothers. I figure Oh! Great really wants to show how much of a monster Nagi is at this point of the story compared to everyone else.

No actually if u look closely at his eye, U see the pupil as the reflection of the moon. and this has a lot of meaning since they have been talking about the Moon and Its reflection on the surface of the water for the past chapters. They also show the surface of water in this preview too. So maybe Mitsuomi is the moon and Masataka is the reflection of the moon, get it?


Although that is what made me lose interest in Tenjou tenge before, Oh Great! is too lazy with it. I remember his chapters used to be longer back in the day and they used to be bi-weekly. Now u get at least 24 pages a chapter every month which is kinda disappointing if u ask me.

I knew that. I was just saying that it looked crazy. Of course Masataka is like the water's reflection. It goes with his style of fighting of only reacting when someone causes a disturbance to the water, yet it returns to its natural form once the disturbance is out. And Mitsuomi no doubt represents the moon, The only other person who can oppose Maya, the Sun. The thing is, the moon controls the ocean's tides, yet the water's reflection is the moon's mirror, making it see what it truly is. No doubt Mitsuomi is a more capable fighter than Masataka and has a similar backstory to Tsukuyomi, yet Masataka can make him see just how he's been acting for the past two years, in other words understanding (reading) the moon.

what about Souichirou? isn't currently stronger than both? but with Maya with an activated we dont know who'd be stronger. We havent seen Souichirou fight with Martial Arts only for a long time. SO we dont know how strong he is without his red powers. as for maya, i dont think she's that strong, her strength has been exaggerated. She was the weakest back in Shin's days. I know u are going to say, u can improve a lot in 2 years, but those people who were stronger than her 2 yrs ago, also got stronger.

Look who's left after two years: One that's dead (Bunshichi) and another that's close to death (Mitsuomi), Emi (Who has never shown to be as powerful as Maya), and Sugano (nuff said). Yeah, I agree, she didn't look as strong as Bunshichi, Mitsuomi, and Shin two years ago, nor was she stronger than them, but she matured since then. Before she 'died', Maya was no doubt the strongest in the group in terms of experience and mentality. However, its starting to look like Souichiro has surpassed her with his powers. Souichiro has never used 'real' martial arts, just his street fighting and various ki attacks. Without his red feather powers, he was still able to use Kamuras Imperial Deer Kick to climb that wall and take out an entire team (probably average level humans) with one tanshinkou. I mean, there's a reason she's mostly used in tenten marketing instead of "Over 9000!" Souichiro or generic shoujo-boy looking Masataka. It's not just the tasty body.

Considering Maya has been crowned a new position, I'd say she probably still has something left in her to really do something damage at least, like maybe kill Mitsoumi in the end. Possibly take the same route as her brother and his girlfriend. Not really sure but that's just my guess.


Anyway, I really can't tell if O!G is actually going some where with this or just dragging the story along. Seems like he should focus more on TT than AG imo but unfortunately the other is loads more popular. ;_; 24 pages in a month? C'mon O!G, cut your fans some slack. I plan to but all TT volumes once it's finally finished some day, this makes me a bit sad when I think back to way before.

About the moon thingy and the legend:it sure is "messy".But I think I understand what you guys wanna say.Oh well,we´ll just see what happens^^

The Amaterasu gate has no fighting power. It's basically a nullifying or an amplifying power. So it's not like she'll gain more ki or something. Like i said, i dont know wether its the translation or the author himself, but some of the sentences/phrases/statements have been grossely overexaggerated in Tenjou tenge(i.e saying Mitsuomi killed Shin, Bushinshi talking like Maya and mitsuomi had more then a platonic relationsihp when in fact they didn't even kiss, 100 yr War itself is exaggerated....) So It's kinda like a wait and see what happen game at the point.
