So i figured out the story of the 3 gods...

So i figured out the story that the kabane guy was talking about concerning the 3 gods that fought death. Apparently when izanagi escaped from his wife izanami in yomi (hell) she said that she would kill 1000 of his children every day. Izanagi then states that he will give birth to 1500 then. Im assuming that since amaterasu, tsukiyomi, and susanoo were born after izanagi purified himself after escaping yomi that theyre taking on their father's fight. This of course is only my assumption so i would love to hear some theories or thoughts.

^ Not to get on you, but I think almost everyone knows that story. I know they used the story a couple of times before in other manga, not sure which ones though. in any case, yeah...Izanami is most likely "death". The question is...who or what represents Izanami in the story? Or if they would mention anything about the other children they bore. I know because the god fire that she gave birth to, she died and fell into Yomi. As far as taking on their father's fight, Izanagi wanted to bring Izanagi back from Yomi, but she became a monster and that's how he 1000/1500 part comes in. Amaterasu is supposed to be a supreme god depending on which origin you read. Susanoo is popular because of the Orochi story, and the only thing Tsukuyomi did was kill the goddess of food and had an argument with Amaterasu in which they never spoke to each other again.

Have to wait until Fight 117 to see if they go into more detail about the true purpose of the three siblings.

Ara, i completely forgot that izanami died giving birth to the god of fire. I do find it interesting that susanoo slays the dragon. I dont know if you remember this but while sohaku was "inside" souichirou he says what his name will be once he is "reborn" and susanoo is one of the names. (theres like four of them) Does souichirou master the "dragon" inside? And as far as tsukiyomi having an argument with amaterasu resulting in them not speaking to each other, could this be reminiscent of what happened between maya and mitsuomi, and if so would that make masataka be the new moon? Ara, so many questions, no answers, so yeah i guess we will just have to wait until 117 hits the web.

^ IMO I really don't want Masataka to be Tsukuyomi. Not only does he not fit the description of the actual Tsukuyomi like Mitsuomi does, but I rather like him as he is now. As far as Tsukuyomi goes, I can only see two people being Tsukuyomi at this point:

Mitsuomi: He just fits the description of Tsukuyomi. Plus, he's never really been "the bad guy", but made a lot of decisions that made him bad. He sees himself as stopping supernatural power from growing and dominating over natural power by any means necessary. With his talk about death and supposedly dying tomorrow, it would be great to see him taking Bunshichi's advice and fighting against death instead of submitting to it.

Bob: My definition of the Moon Reader is to read everything that's below the moon, meaning the Earth. Bob's music/rhythm ability literally allows him to feel the vibrations on the ground and use that to dodge. Plus, he has above average intuition. Plus, if the manga ends like I think it would end, then him, Maya, and Souichiro would be leaving Toudou since they have no other reason to be there after this year.

Masataka, without stipulations, hasn't lost a fight yet. He did get beat down by Mitsuomi after he dominated over Kagurazaka back at the bowling alley and got his back slashed by Fu Chien when he was holding Madoka, but like I said before, he really doesn't need anything else ( Not to say that I don't like Masataka. He's like one of my top five in the series).

the 3 gods are:
Maya = Amaterasu Masataka = Susano Mitsuomi = Tsukuyomi

Souichirou = Izanagi Sohaku = Izanami

and The True Warrior is Bob Makihara...

Ara, you are right about the whole mitsuomi not being a bad person thing. After giving it some thought if he did decide to fight against "death" then he would make an ideal tsukiyomi, and seeing how masataka is the best candidate for true warrior in my book (with bob as an immediate runner up) in my eyes his "role" has already been chosen.

As far as them leaving todou im not going to presume the end of the story but i dont think that they would leave. Especially after it finally becomes a "rose colored school life". Its not like bob and nagi came to the school to get caught up in all this craziness. Unless im mistaken they were just trying to do their knuckle bomber thing when they first got there so its not like there was any objective beforehand, so i dont see any reason for them to leave. They still need to graduate after all and after they beat mitsuomi the jyuuken group will probably be the strongest school group in japan.

Its already a fact that Souichiro is Susanoo, even the known dragon gates he's absorbed so far reflect the elements of a storm. The only one that hasn't been decided is Tsukuyomi. At this point, the concept of a true warrior is pointless. They stated that even the original true warrior would be powerless against the Amaterasu dragon gate, so I think the whole search for the True Warrior is over and now they're going to focus on the three gods.
True, it might be too early to decide the end of the story, but Souichiro wants to leave the school after the election tournament to continue his mother's work, since he doesn't have her arms anymore. Maya is expelled, but they let her stay until the end of the Election Tournament, and Bob might leave for Chiaki's sake. If he didn't go there and start causing trouble, she wouldn't have been raped by Ryuuzaki. He just wanted to take out Mitsuomi and his group and be stronger than Souichiro (At least to chinese raws). Without Souichiro there, there would be no point in him being there.

Isn't Susanoo the strongest out of all these 3 gods?? I remember Amaterasu went hiding because she was afraid of Susanoo or something like that. and also, why do i feel that the Reiki is Oh Great!'s Kusanagi.

I'm not sure about Susanoo being the strongest. He's the most known of the three since they use the Susanoo/Orochi story in every other manga.But yeah, Amaterasu went into hiding because she was mad at Susanoo. The land was overcome with darkness since there was no sun without Amaterasu. So, Susanoo brought the three treasures ( Kusanagi, Jewel, and Mirror ) to her so the sun would come out again.

I wouldn't say that having the True Warrior in the series would be pointless at this point, since both Dougen and, to some extent Mitsuomi, seem to still be hell bent on bringing that being to perfection. Both Dougen and Mitsuomi's surprise at Masataka's true potential in the last chapter seem to be yet another implication of him being a possible candidate.

It is true though that at this point, Souichiro is acknowledged as being in the role of Susanoo, as is Maya being in the role of Amaterasu due to her having the gate. That would make her being one of very few, and the most likely, to be able to stop him should Souhaku be able to take over his body and wield his powers. I also agree that Mitsuomi seems the most likely of candidates to fill the role of Tsukiyomi. However, you have to keep in mind that in Japanese mythology, as far as I'm aware, Tsukiyomi doesn't die, where as Mitsuomi is still bound to die once his heart gives out.

Masataka, due to what Aya said early on about his nature as a fighter, seems to be more of a reflection of the moon at this point. What role he and Mitsuomi take, as well as the future of the surviving characters, is all up for Oh! Great! to decide at this point.
