about Wani clan and Bob Makihara

I'm fench, so, pardon my english that might sound odd in many ways ^^

Let's start with a first question :
I'm unable to find informations on the wani clan. I'm debating with friends on the families and we were unable to figure out who was the hotaru clan successor. Then, I just added that we hadn't informations about the wani clan. Nor the ancestors, nor the successors. Do you have any informations about that ?

Well, I built a theory about that, and it might be absolutely stupid, but I'd like you to discuss it. The only "hero" that is still mysterious after 20 volumes is Bob makihara. I can't remember where I found that information, but his father was a first lieutenant in the Navy (no ?) and, knowing that wani clan is the naval division of the whits feather makes me think that his father was maybe a leader of the wani clan, and that bob could possibly be the last piece of the puzzle. The fact Mits only likes white feathers can also be a argument of this theory, helping us to understand why he finds in bob a genuine warrior ...

Anyway. If you have any other informations, please, tell me !

Where do they say that the wani clan is the "naval" division of the white feathers? Ive been racking my brain over this. And who is in the hotaru clan?

Hotaru uses the Dragon's Palm that heals others. They say the Wani clan was part of the Naval division somewhere in the Ancient Arc. I'm not sure exactly which chapter though.

I'm not so sure about Bob being a part of the Wani clan. I mean if he were a direct successor of that clan, then wouldn't he possess the same last name, much like Nagi and the others who are directly related to clans do?

Jean Rodrigo First lieutenant US navy. Possibly his mother could have been a wani ... but obviously he has her last name ,Makihara, so it's dobubtful.

If youll notice the head of the wani clan has a darker skin tone as well.

Still don't think Bob is a part of the twelve families in any way. I mean, I even thought he was somehow related to the Takayanagi blood line back at the bowling alley, when Mitsuomi bowed to him. I just thought it was interesting back then since Mitsuomi never bows to anyone or smiled at anyone since the Shin fight, yet he bowed to him. Besides, he doesn't need to be a part of any special clan or family. I think his reading vibration/rhythm/music ability is one of the most useful abilities in the series, like a Dragon's eye, yet not as powerful.

In all honesty mitsuomi bowing to him might be even more of a sign that he is a wani. The only thing that really makes me wonder is the fact that the head of the wani clan does have a much darker skin tone (he definitely has a large portion of either african or hispanic blood in him) and he's carrying a bat when they show him. It kinda screams that "streetfighting thuglike" vibe that souichirou and bob have. I guess even if they have the ryuken and zanshin theyre still the battle hungry punks they were in the beginnning of the series to me.Fu fu fu fu fu fu
