That piece is actually the king. The king is almost always the one with the cross on top, the queen is also ornate but doesn't have a cross. I doubt OG would've made a mistake like that.

From what I know, or at least read in the MT forum, chapters usually come out on the 19th, but when will they actually be scanned? That's basically up to whom ever is actually willing to scan it which can be within the time they get it or days, even weeks. Just going to have to be patient, especially considering the person translating the chapters is getting married, so he'll be gone for about 2 months.

Just few thoughts on the chess thing. There are two rooks(which are considered to be subjectively more powerful than a single queen. 2x5 point vs 9 points), and also 2 bishop/knights worth 3 points. Is there two rooks/bishop/knights in the manga(for each side)?

I dont consider Nagi as the King, he seems more like a rook or even a pawn, working for Maya the King/General.

Also, Bunshichi better not die off.. he's just too good of a character to kill off.
However, my sadness has been quickly forgotten and replaced with excitement at the prospect of Masataki showing us his true abilities. I've waited for this moment since vol 1. It's gonna be o' so great! -_-
