Bunsichi has always been somewhat of a mentor for Masataka, so having him killed to develop Masataka's character isn't surprising. But it still hurts. I am unashamed to say that tears are currently running down my face.

im torn, on the one hand it is a cool plot development and i really didnt expect him to die due to his popularity and all, but on the other hand noooooo!!! bunshichi is one of the coolest characters in this series, he's irreplacable. damn u mistuomi and ur stupid overly constraining clothes
