mean souhaku nagi gone that's the only reason why i could explain nagi showing his eye to masataka and chaleng to a match it wouldn't make any sense nagi and masataka fight in the middle of the tournament in the end i would expect that ....

Cool chapter, glad to see they're starting to get longer again. But, was there TWO Reiki's? I thought that somehow Aya might have summoned that sword, but did she actually make a new Reiki? If so, that's so *&@#in cool!

The Reiki has changed over the centuries, basically wearing down, losing some of the elegance that it originally had.

Although I can't really stand Masataka, after reading the last chapter I'm kinda stoked to see the fight that everyone (Except me) has been waiting for.

I kinda wanted some more info on the Ichiyou plan that Mitsuomi and Dogen are following. Also wanted some action and not AyaxSouichiro moment and SouichiroxMasataka moment.

Senihime was included in the chapter. I always wondered if she had a descendent domewhere cause I know the actual legend of Senihime had a daughter before cutting her hair and becoming a nun.

Yes, that's my take on things as well; Souhaku appears to have gained control of Souichiro's body. I'm guessing this without being able to read Japanese, tho'...

If so, I wonder why Souhaku has decided to threaten Masataka first, of all people. In the story previously, Souhaku previously wondered if Masataka was the "True Warrior". If so, perhaps he considers him one of the greatest threats to his plan?

i think he might wants to lure mitsuomi or his dad into the battle mitsuomi said he would never let anything happen to masataka
If masataka is the true warrior he would need his dad or mitsuomi to teach him how to use his power so he would need to take them down and also mitsuomi is a big treat to his plan he his big, powerfull and full of resources ^^
