    Default Question about Shin

With his Dragon Eye, he should've been able to see the past and future, so could it have been possible that all of this was planned by shin from the very beginning, and if so , why?

You have a fuckin good point there. Although has he ever used the dragon's eye to look that far into the future? I know that one dream type thing about him dying was always occurring but I don't really remember if he actually did look before. Was it shown or said at all?

If he did plan all this, thats some good freakin plot twist. That could sort of makes sense since Shin did become really selfish towards the end of his life. Could have been him trying to hurt everyone who was involved with Maya like his previous plan, probably really wanted Mitsoumi to suffer too.

Well, that's the thing. That last meeting with him and Mitsuomi. Who knows what else he might've told Mitsuomi that night. He could've told him everything that might happen in the next two years or he could've lied to him just to make him suffer. I really hope they get to explain everything about Shin before the story ends.

i dont think he could completely control what the dragon eye showed him, so im not sure if he could have accurately planned all of this. i think it just liked to torture him so it kept showing him the moment of his death over and over again (or at least thats how i understood it)

Wait, when did it say that the Dragon's eye could see the future? We know it can see the past, but when did they say it could see the future? Also, Shin admitted to being too weak to be master of the reiki. I think this weakness would make him a relatively weak user (as compared to the rising Maya).

Shin could hardly control the Dragon Eye, Period. That's why he had Mitsuomi fight him in the first place. As for Seeing into the future, You guys do have a point, but we don't know much about the dragon eye, even though we have seen it a lot. We know it could read the ki of others and look into the past.
When Maya had first mentioned way back in the beginning, it sounded like it could read past, present, and future events.

Yes he can see the future, and it was mentioned by some one(Bunshichi?) I forget when I'll have to look it up that Shin and Mits did plan a lot of this.

^But if you can see into the future, that means the entire plotline of TT is predetermined and that there really is no point to fighting fate...
And if you could, I wonder why Maya has only seen the past and not the future...because, if its bad, it would just add motivation to try to change it.

Just because they've seen visions of the future doesn't mean it's going to be set that way. Shin kept seeing his future and even he ended up slightly changing it.

Dunno why you keep getting Maya and Aya confused, but Aya has been able to see the future before. The time she was fighting in the bowling alley, the time she knew that Nagi was going to confess he liked Maya for the first time, and the time she and Nagi chased after those brothers who attempted to kidnap the little boy on their motorcycles while she was riding the scooter.

In the end I bet Aya is going to be the person who is able to change everything.

^Wait, Shin kept seeing his future? When? I don't remember this...

Sorry about the Maya/Aya switch-up. I do it periodically because the names and character are too similar to me (though the differences in char are large too). I think everyone (in Jyukenbu) is either going to end up changing their fate in a very peculiar way such that they achieve their fate but meet their goals at the same time and end up being happy or they end up changing the course of their fates altogether.
