I think I'll wait for the scans. The chaps are hard enough to understand with the dialogue anyways.

Yah, if anyone had any doubts before, they shouldn't any more. Anyone who can carry on a conversation while dealing with 25 huge, whacky swords flying at you all at the same time is inhumanly capable. Looked to me like the Dragon's Eye is in full effect, and she is truly po'd now.

I'd love to know what they're saying, and hopefully fugu is looking over the raws as I type this... ! I have a bad feeling that Kibane is going to get hurt in the next chapter. A pity; I like the guy, just as I found his ancestor and their power quite fascinating. Kibane was worried about Aya, and I quote, 'understanding the true nature of my "swords"'. I'd love to understand this myself -- are they just illusion that takes on the reality the person they are directed at allows them? That forest of blades emerging from the floor was a neat trick, too -- almost as neat as Aya somehow miraculously avoiding being impaled ten times over, not to mention freeing herself.

Last chapter Aya pretty much stated that she has to whack Nokimi in order to disable the army of worms she's planted around the campus, and that means she has to go through Kibane. Since Kibane is duty-bound to protect Nokimi (despite his preferences, apparently), he's going to learn that the price of obeying that sort of duty can be high. I hope I'm wrong... !

Looks more like an out-of-body experience. It will be interesting to see what the dialog is between Madoka and Ms. Hotaru. I get the impression that Maya is in one of those "trapped between life and death" situtations. Bummer, 'cuz I'd like to see Maya back on her feet and back in the story as soon as possible.

And meanwhile, back at the tournament, we are still wondering what's going on between Asshat and the poor Ms. Koumikawa Hitomi...
