I'm thinking Masataka had a more of an emotional past because his father was only paying attention to Mitsuomi, and I'm sure like all little brothers, Masataka wanted Mitsuomi's care, which he didn't give >.<

so I think Masataka is more reserved than the other TT characters because he was never paid much attention when he was young. Mitsuomi, on the other hand, was and is being paid attention.

Mtsuomi, ever since the whole thing with Shin, has be more outgoing and direct with how he feels about people, while Masataka hides his feelings. Mitsuomi had it rough from the start because he was being "built" to become the ultimate warrior while Masataka was being ignored. I can see how people feel more Masataka, but I still say that Mitsuomi has had it rough since he was basically force into the situation he's in while Masataka chose this for himself. Masataka has his own demons to face and I don't think its looking too good for Masataka.

    I agree with Hadou completely.

Also, I think Masataka has been able to keep his own personality and innocence better because his dad treats him more like a normal son and has been raised more normally, has very few traumatic experiences and has the opportunity to develop his own fighting without fear, anger, revenge, and depression being such a big factor in Mitsuomi's life.
All the emphasis put on Mitsuomi's dad to make him the ultimate warrior put him through much more dirty and traumatic situations. I think that screwed up his fighting philosophy and style as a result.

How is Masataka and Mitsuomi? If Masataka is 17 and Mitsuomis 17, do you think they are have brothers. I could explain why Mitsuomi treats me him the way he does; he is not purely from the Takayanagi family. He might have red feather blood in him? I could explain the third person who the insect girl was talking about but I doubt it.

just take it from the level of normal live, taking apart the fact that they kinda have super powers in that world remember that they kinda live a normal live as students so lets take some points in count

Mitsuomi is a first born child so he is spoiled as hell, so he being blond or something is part of a rebel live, using earrings and so, his eyebrows are not normal, but you know that can be done in the real world so, and at his young age he was not that superman.

Now mastaka is a normal child and second born, so lets say that after mitsuomi failure he dougen decided to educate more his other son, or even in a other way, he wanted to have a child that was not a project of a demon exterminator and all that so i think that would do.

except for shin and maya, there are no other people with white hair, so far mitsuomi in the anime series, and mitsuomi is not family from them so you can say, mitsuomi kinda bleached his hair for shin natsume :P thats my theory and with reasonable points that said mitsuomi cares a lot for masataka so is his brother after all

They're not half-brothers. Masataka is a year younger than Mitsuomi. When the manga started, Mitsuomi and Maya was seventeen, Masataka was sixteen, and the three freshmen were only fifteen. I don't think anyone has gotten any older since then.

Wow, pipe down a little, will ya

As for Mitsuomi's superhuman body, I think this was at least partly due to the ki overload he got when fighting Shin. OTOH, even before that he was trained as the super warrior, so chances are he did more than a little bodybuilding. Masataka wasn't burdened by any such expectations, so he doesn't look that flashy.
