    Yusuke: Masataka
    Hiei: Soichirou obviously
    Kuwabara: Bob
    Kurama: Aya
    Genkai: Maya
    Toguro/Sensui: Mitsuomi

    Err...wait what?

    Aren't the stories completely different? I've never watched that many episodes of that show nor have I even ever read the manga but I see no connection what so ever. meh. *shrugs*

    I watched all the Yu Yu Hakusho eps a couple years ago and that is a terrible analogy. TenTen has a much more complex plot and there are many more forces at play than in YuYuHakusho. YYH is your typical shounen manga that diverges about 3/4 into the series to some side-switching. Its pretty much a reworked DBZ plot. TenTen is nothing like it.

    Soichirou and Mitsuomi are similar to those two in appearance but the plot is completely different.

    it's also a good deal less theatrical than TT. =]

    wikipedia says something about Souichiro being based off of Hiei and also Goku, but that's just parody.
