Kabane Myouun Hirohiko, who appeared with Shyoujyou Tokuan Mitsuiro in v14, page 144 (both 14th generation since the "ancient arc", I think). All those mystic blades hovering around him are an ability (or magic) inherited from his ancestor, Kabane Myouun (v15 pg83).

Which begs the question: Why are these two helping out Mitsoumi? Earlier on, Shyoujyou (the shape-changer) told Aya "We're not your enemies" (v16 pg107). Maybe not, but why are they back to working for the White Feather Takayanagi family?

Because they know about Nagi's father's intentions. Technically their ennemy is Nagi. And from what we've witnessed, Mitsuomi is not the bad guy, it was over exaggerated by Maya or should i say Oh Great!

Yeah, good point. A problem a lot of people seem to be having with the series is that they aren't used to OG's sudden bad-guy shifts (mitsuomi -> souhaku, and in Air Gear, sleeping forest -> Sora & Nike.)

But don't you mean their enemy is Kago? or that they'll go through Nagi to get to Kago...
