Which begs the question: Why are these two helping out Mitsoumi? Earlier on, Shyoujyou (the shape-changer) told Aya "We're not your enemies" (v16 pg107). Maybe not, but why are they back to working for the White Feather Takayanagi family?

The Takayanagi are not a white feather family they are the head family of both the white and red feather families. Mitsuomi summoned them to the school. Emi mentions this in chap 99.

What i mean by that is that Souhaku(nagi's father) is inside Nagi. Plus Nagi right now has all the red feather blood(except The natsumes) in him. He's a serious threat. Right now, only AYa knows about what happened to Nagi at the Nagi main house. Shoujyou and Kabane know that Souhaku is planning something but they dont know what, they do know that somehow nagi figures into his plan(since he was kidnapped by his father, plus they also know about Nagi's power).
The whole Mitsumi killing shin thing was way overexaggerated, Shin took his own life(with that needle).

I don't know about all red feather powers, I believe Inue mentions they had to rush their plans (which I assume means they were still "feeding" Souichiro). Shyoujyou and Kabane were brought in by Mitsuomi(and as to the first staement Nagi obviously doesn't have either of their powers, unless you count the Kabane branch family of Mataza) and as they tell Aya, they are there to kill Souhaku(finish what their ancestors started).
The way I see it is Mitsuomi gets blamed because he didn't have to fight Shin, but was so "drunk" on his new power he fought anyway which if he hadn't Shin wouldn't have died, Mana's dying wish to Maya is even that she not let Mitsuomi be consumed by his power like Shin was.

They do have Kabane and Shyoujyou bloodlines. In all the red feather bloods, two were missing, 1 was Kago and the other was Natsume. besides that Nagi has all the red feathers blood inside him, including his father's(the eye). As they are here to kill Souhakou, that means that they are nagi's ennemy.

Plus even if Nagi's father had evil plans, he's still his father, i dont think Nagi would let anybody kill his own father as he had attacked Mitsumi for cutting his father's head off.
