Thread: 2 points of confusion

Can anyone explain how the eye-poking thing works? I know that in the manga, they poke out Souichirou, his mom, dad, and that one iron-blood dude's eye out. What is the point of this? Also, can anyone clarify whether Souicirous poked out eye was REPLACED by his dad's eye so he could get his experience and power? Also, does anyone know what happened to his mom's eye that got poked out? Also, whose eye did the dog puke out?

Aside from the eye stuff, the last page of ch 99 shows 2 Mitsuomi's. Can anone explain what's going on?

Supposedly a person's power can be transfered to another through the eye.....and since Souichiro's mum managed to absord alot of Dragon power's, her eye got taken out and was given to the Kagiroi guy cause he's Souhaku's lackey....I have no clue who's eye the dog has...maybe it's Souhaku's?

In chap 99, the other Mitsuomi(with the strange markings) is one of the member's of the Red Feather's, Shyoujyou. She's the one who smokes and changes into Aya in chap 97.

It was Souhaku's eye that got puked out by the dog. Apparently, as long as Souhakou's left eye remains in-tact, he will also live on. This is his ability. lishan1988 has already explained the rest of the eye-poking thingy.

And yes, the other Mitsuomi with the tatoo on the face is none other than Shyoujyou. Apparently she's the decendant of Kabane (the samurai guy in the past arc) and for some reason is now working under Mitsuomi.

Urm...Shyoujou is the decendan of the samurai guy...but he's not Kabane. Kabane is the dried up husk of a warrior who got killed and impaled with a lot of swords earlier in the arc
