Thoeries about Tenjou Tenge
I've posted this on another board a couple of weeks ago and wanted to add some things to it and bring it here.
Okay, so this whole story is about two freshman coming to a school that's full of warriors with special powers or abilities (Powers I.E. Red Feather and Abilities I.E. Maya, Masataka, Mitsoumi, etc.). Now, there's an election tournament as to determine which club will become like the Enforcement Group.
Now they're eight gates altogether: earth, water, fire, wood, metal, air, wind, and the ultimate gate. Each one has a different "dragon" that is released. Right here, I'm thinking the story of Orochi and how he was slain by Susanoo, the God of the seas and storms. He fed each one of the heads a bowl of Sake and took a sword from the tail, which he later named the Kusanagi (Snake Sword or Grass Cutter). Now Susanoo decapitated each of the Orochi's heads. So, there's eight dragons to repeasent each one of the heads of the Orochi and a Blade is what ultimately killed it.
So the Orochi is the "True Demon" and Susanoo is the "True Warrior" in that story. Now Nagi ( Since his name means Snake) is obviously the representation of the Orochi. Even if it came from only one side of his family, Souichirou's father, Souhaku, has the power over death, which the Orochi also had once it gained the power from the Kusanagi in it's tail. So, from this, I can say that Nagi is the Earth Dragon, no doubt.
Now, for the Heaven Dragon, or Susanoo. This one is kinda hard to figure out. On one hand, How many times do they always talk about the "True Warrior" being able to do this and being able to do that. Masataka seems to be a candidate for the whole history and how his brother slayed the Orochi of his time, Shin. Plus, he's seems to know the most about ki besides the other candidate, Bob. I was just rereading Volume 11 and it seems like Mitsuomi wants to make him his apprentice of sorts and how he's said that God came down from the heavens through dance and had influence on the world or something like that. Now, this sounds more like the Heaven Dragon, the "True Warrior".
Now, For slaying the dragon, Susanoo was given Kushinada as a bride. Now, I'm leading towards Aya, but she's one of the red feathers. If Souichirou takes Aya's Dragon Eyes later on, then I would consider her the Kushinada. If that happens, then Masatake would most likely be the True Warrior. The other one I could think of is Chiaki, that is if Bob's is the "True Warrior".
From all of this, this is what I can sum up:
-Souichirou is the True Demon or Orochi
-Masataka or Bob is the True Warrior and Aya or Chiaki is the Kushinada.
Okay, now to talk about the Chakras. Soichirou natural chakra is the red belt earth dragon since he's been fighting most of his life and that chakra is based on survival and instinct, which Nagi mostly relies on. We all know Maya's Chakra is the fifth gate, the wood dragon. Bob's is most likely (99.9999999% sure) that his is the sixth Chakra gate since that relies on intuition, which Bob has definetely shown throughout the Manga (always knowing when something bad is about to happen before it happens).
I wanted to emphazise on the sixth gate as it has two petals that sprout from the center. On a couple of sites, it said that it's supposed to represent wings. That's when I thought back to the Bowling alley incident and came to realize all the little messages Oh! Great put in it. The wings on the back of Bob's Shirt. That whole scene, to me, defines how everyone is going to be by the end of the manga. Souchirou showing his latent powers, Maya not able to do anything but try and give guidance to the others, Bob still denying his probable desire to join the enforcement group and become the "Sharpest Blade in the school", Masataka trying to prove himself to his brother.
Now, that brings me to another point. Mitsuomi might be trying to prevent Masataka from becoming like him. That's why he tried to keep Masa away from him, who deals with those with "special" powers. It could end up with Masa defeating his brother to take over as the head of the Takayanagi family.
these are just a bunch of theories of mine. I'm not trying to say that this is what will happen later on. I'm going to keep posting when I come up with more ideas.
If we follow what the story says, ONly red feathers have dragons which supply unlimited amount of Ki. Red feathers use KI from dragons which is why they have way more Ki than regular people. While white feathers(people with no power) use Ki that they body produces which is why it's limited.

I can't really comment on gates but I have a theory as to what might happen at the end: Aya will sacrifice herself and allow Souichirou to steal her dragon Eye because when you think about it, that is the only blood that Souichirou is lacking.
So what about Ishiyumi? He's only White Feather and he can (well, could) manipulate water. Anyone can open the seven gates, but only those of the red feathers have the eight gate which give them the special power ( Dragon Fist, Dragon Eye, etc.)
They mention that in Fight 53 or 54 with the diagram of the Chakra System in the human body.
Look, Tenjou Tenge is full of Contradictions and that's a fact. If you try to understand it too much, you'll go crazy.

As to why they said Nagi ate Isyumi's water dragon or Ishiyumi saying Nagi is using his dragon in a foul way, remain a mystery. Oh great! lives to contradict himself.
2. They said Mitsumi killed Shin: that's incorrect, if you watched the Shin arc, you'll know that SHin took his own life and He beat the crap out of everybody including Mitsumi.
3.Maya treats Nagi like a kid or call him kid while she's only 1 or 2 years older than him.
4.They have Nagi wearing an eyepatch while his eye is OK.
5. Nagi supposedly has gotten training from the old 12 red feather general gods while he is still weak and is still taking a back seat. Some main character.
6. They said that there were 6 white feather families and 6 red feather families but when Dougen introduced them to souichirou, he said: 12 red feather general gods.
This manga is full of contradictions, everybody is right because if you try to understand or explain it you'll come out like an idiot.
I'm so confused!!!! So... on chapter98. Souhaku (forgot his name. Souichiro's dad) is in Sourichiro's body or something? And Aya knows that Sourichiro's dad is alive or does she just think that????
No, the thing is that the power of Souhaku is what keep him inmortal so by pasing the aye to Nagi, Souhaku keeps living. And becuase Aya has the dragon eye she knows that

also what i think is that since souhaku is in souichiro, there is no way aya can try and fight souichiro. Cuz i mean, if she wanted to stop souhaku, she would have to kill souichiro...which she couldnt do herself and even if she did it...everyone would be like "WTF IS GOING ON?!" and maya would be like "STUPID BITCH THAT WAS MY LOVE"
