    Default VLC Player...?

I got myself Windows Media Player and I was told VLC could handle the rest. Personally, I don't like it but it seems to work with every random Audio Video thing out there...

My question is would VLC be able to play a movie that consists of RAR files and SFV?

I don't have a burner, so I can't do it the easy way. I'd like to know before I download the whole movie only to find out it doesn't work.

Well, if you don't like VLC player, check out 'Cold-NiTe's big list of players and codecs' in this section.

Its a sticky post and right near the top.

As for the rar... don't know. I think you can store weird shit in MKV files, but why anyone would put a RAR in there, I don't know. Sure the file isn't a rar that you just have to extract the video out of?

Yeah, you extra the video out of it but there's something like 70+ compressed files. Any clue after that?

    I'll check the list.

    Edit-
Here's the link to the files list within the Torrent, if that helps.

A rar file is like a zip file. Since you say there are like 70 rar files that means that the original file was compressed into 70 rar files. An sfv file is just something used for checking the integrity of your download, the only thing inside of it are the file names with the correspondind CRC32 check sum, you can't play it XD

Yeah, your just getting a torrent that will send you a bunch of RAR files from the looks of it. Get them and just decompress them. Shouldn't be a problem.

Dude you gotta extract the file first - looks to be an .ISO (DVD image) - VLC should be able to handle that.
