    Well, considering they are on DVD to begin with, I'm quite certain it IS burnable. If you're talking about a CD, try DivX. And have fun. Muahaha.

    Screw DivX. H.264/X.264 is the way to go now.

    I agree with hellcreator. Don't use it as I spent the money on Nero, but I hear great things about that one. DVDs are MPEG2 compression format. You want them onto a dvd that is smaller than the video, the you have to reduce the quality of the MPEG2 encode. Just like DivX, Xvid, h.264 or any other codec.

    There is the technical aspects. DVD Shrink does this well. You should be happy.

    http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fi...dvdshrink.html ==> Licence : Gratuitiel / Freeware
    so it's (still) a freeware, a priori...

    i never used it, but it's possible that it doesn't allow you to burn your .ISO, but in this case you can save it on your hard drive and use another software to burn it onto a DVD-5 (or maybe it just doesn't have a built it burner..)

    and as volvo said, you can reduce the quality of the video to make it smaller, but not only !! what can be more interesting is removing audio you don't need to keep (if your dvd has french, english and danish and you only want english, you can delete the others => gains some place ^^), and idem for bonus you don't want
    and this can avoid you reducing the quality of the video

    It is freeware, so it is free. Everything about the program is free.
