Adding borders to movie files
I've converted anime files to dvd, and the results are good, but the problem is that my TV cannot display the entire image. And no, it's not a problem with my TV- this is some all TVs will do.
Well, the subtitles (which are imbedded into the video itself) are a little too close to the edge of the screen. I want to add a black border around the edge of the video, so that the entire image will be shown. Does anyone know of a program that can create black borders for either .vob or .avi files?

load the video in vdub
then go video, filters (turn on full proc. mode)
then check expand frame and letterbox image and add the # of pixels you want to put in the border
set your compressions and what not then go file save as avi and click save and let it work its magic.
