    Good seeing you again Hasu.
I underlined all the programs, so it should be easier now.

And yeah... it hasn't changed at all. I've even found some stuff I should add to it, but alas... I'm lazy. Actually that's not completely it. It also has to do with there is a character limit per post. I believe I am VERY close to that limit, so it's kinda disheartening not being able to have it all in one post, or at least successive posts (although I suppose I could with Hybrid view or something).

If I ever get my hands on a small server, I'll offsite the entire thing and re-write it in HTML... make it quite nice. Alas, this is how it is now. I'm afraid members have to read the entire thread to get all the programs. :S
    Vol~

    thanks to Silverwmoon!

I have finally offsited this list. You can view it here.
    http://volvogga.110mb.com/freeware/

It's not fully up to date yet, but will so be. If you have some freeware or find an error in the list, let me know and I will fix it.

Thanks to all the contributors thus-far.
Hopefully this way it's easier to read and maintain.

    EDIT:
    Ok, now it's fully up2date.
My fingers hurt... remind me not to get that far behind again.
    Vol~

    thanks to Silverwmoon!

    Sidebars
Rocketdock (www.rocketdock.com) a great alternative to objectDock, and its very lightweight, now supports minimized windows going to the dock.

    Files
CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) cleans up all the mess you made and the ones that you didn't! Internet Temporary files, Registry not used keys.. and such.. Very good for a quick clean up on you HD.

    Diagnostics
HijackThis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...kthis/download) Must have tool for diagnosis!

Codecs - How else can you play that file.
Combined Community Codec Pack (http://www.cccp-project.net/) Pack used for most anime-fan-subs groups, it should contain everything you need to run any type of file. (even non anime related)

For the brave of heart! Singles codecs, only use if you know what you doing!

    FFDShow Tryouts (http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/) - Xvid, H.264, FLV1, MPEG2, AAC, Vorbis, AC3, DTS, etc.
    MatroskaSplitter (http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/) - MKV, MP4, OGG/OGM, MPEG TS
RealAlternative (http://codecguide.com/download_real.htm) - Who needs realplayer?
QuickTimeAlternative (http://www.codecguide.com/download_qt.htm) But most with iPods won't need it..
DivX (http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/) I don't think anyone use it anymore.. but.

    Fun
ATI Tray Tools (http://www.guru3d.com/article/atitraytools/189) ATI Cards are never the same after it!
