    Default Computer Does Not Register EHD

    well here's the problem... i just borrowed a mate's EHD, and my computer acts as if nothing's been plugged in. It connects via USB and the EHD was working the previous night at my mate's place. The odd thing is... the EHD worked on my computer about half a year ago, when i last borrowed it.

    Have you switched it on? (stupid as it seems, thats the most common mistake I make)

    yea.. iv switched it on.. done all the technical shit.. replug into different usb ports and what not.

    What about installing your mother boards usb driver?
