    Default Jyuu Vista help.

I looked up on Wikipedia, and got no info. I also looked on google, and got no help either. Could you tell me in your opinion what so good about Windows Vista Service Pack 1?

Not so much a matter of how good it is but rather that windows wont stop yelling at you until you download it.

Well considering that it was created to fix problems, what is so bad about SP1?

Marginal performance increase in games, faster hard drive performance, D3D 10.1 and some other performance tweaks.

You install and thats it, there is no recomendation..
It only fixes stuff, and even if the improvements are marginal, its still better then not installing..

the SP is not a new os or anything its just a collection of hotfixes.. big enough to get a pretty name..

Not every service pack introduces a wealth of new features like XP SP2 did.

I got a 'new' laptop thats running XP.

So tell me, does SP1 automatically download itself and force a restart immediatly afterward?

No. You choose to install it if you want to.
