Although, it's only rated for SP2... no 3. Could just be the page isn't updated, but your call.

thanks to Silverwmoon!
edit:I've rolled back to using XP SP2.
err.I've gone there.I went to support and write my error.I've DLed windows installer 3.1v2.installed.but didn't fix my problem.
it's error 1719 btw but when I went to microsoft page and type that kind of error,it's not helping at all because this error only happens when you are installing from terminal server.
Is the only solution repair it with my Sp2?what is the consequences from repairing windows?

scannow sfc - LEARN how to use SFC.EXE (system file checker) in this article!
Maybe try that first...
If you do a repair install, then you'll most likely lose your registry. Everything will be there, but it won't be linked... know what I mean?

Yeah, that's what I thought happens... the programs and file associations and what not, although still technically there, are not recognized by windows' database as being installed or valid.
For example, if you re-install over it and had NERO installed, then you won't see it under add-remove programs... so in essence, you have to re-install everything again.
I think... I've done that maybe once. I usually either fix it or have a disk image handy that I won't loose much. It's a weeeee bit easier that way.
Anyway, I could be wrong.
