perhaps i'm making this up,
but is there a code that makes things into alphabetical order automatically?? cause i'm trying to make a roster for someone, and there's a shit load of stuff (gonna be at least 1,000+ stuff)...and i was hoping there was some way it can automatically be changed into alphabetical order ^_^
code or what?
I think that you need to provide some more information. Are we talking about alphabetizing in a certian program, writing HTML, C++, what?
sorry, i guess i should've said more stuff.
ok, so here's the deal...we got all these books. in short, we just pretty much wanna make a roster of all these books. so, i'm just writing the name, and the author of each book.
so then, i have a lot of books and names of authors. and i want to put them on the webbie.
but i want them in alphabetical order on the webbie. i was wondering...how do i do that. like, is there a code that'll put them all in alphabetical order?
Ooooo.... that sounds like fun.
Putting it on the webbie sounds like you will be writing in HTML. The only thing I could find involves using an XML extention called RDF. I think that HTML and XML can co-exist with eachother, but I'm not sure. I don't really write in HTML, I just can read bits and pieces.
Anyway, this is what I found...
Look at the <rdf:Seq> part.
This is a really awsome site. You can learn almost anything having to do with the internet from these guys. And sense they make the standards (I think), it should all be standardized code. No IE only crap.
Hope this is what you need.
good site. and yes html and xml can co exist i believe...
(knows html enough to not be confused by it.)
and no, it's not fun. i haven't finished one shelf (there's about 20 shelves) and i already got 200+ titles. aaah...the pain...
