I don't know its hard to explain. Basically its a widget or gadget for Windows XP Professional, and it tells you how much space you have on you hard drives, and the cpu usage. It tells you with an anime character.

I think I know what you are talking about.
    Something like this.
But an anime one? Highly unlikely.

I did a quick search and found this page:
Skinnables: front-end for free, skinnable software
(read the descriptions though--many of them are no longer maintained)

My search also turned up this site with loads of skins:
    Browse Skin Groups .:. SkinBase

So anyways, the idea is to look for a skinnable resource monitor, and then find an anime skin. Happy hunting!

    There's lots of widgets.

I like rainmeter by Rainy (you can find the link in the freeware thread I believe... otherwise google will do it).

I guess the japanese seem to really like it too. Go nuts and let me know how it goes. I kinda like the default tranquil theme, but... hey, might be fun to play with if it's not to hard to use one of those themes and modify it to suit me (as I have with tranquil).

    EDIT:

Ehhh... I don't think Rainy is japanese, but maybe. The site listed in the 'about' of the program ended in .fi, so I guess I assumed Fin. Either way though, if it works, it works.

And damn, shows how tired I was last night. I thought I was answering Dante for some reason... but he had the MPC thread. Sorry dude.
