Default Need help Copying a home movie DVD

    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this,
I am trying to copy a family gathering DVD movie, so it's not a comercial movie (no copyright protection or region code restriction or anything like it) it was sent to me from abroad and it's the only DVD copy.
I have tried CDBurner XP, DVD shrink and DVD Decrypter, but just couldn't do it, DVD shrink and DVD Decrypter both give me errors, in my Windows 98 PC and my brother's Windows XP laptop, I thought I could do it with CDBurner XP, don't know if I am too dumb, but I could do it either, tried to make an .ISO but didn't really get how to do it.
And just tried ImgBurn, but the program won't work with old PC
Is there a free and easy to use software (with no Spyware, or anything like it) that I could use to make a couple of copies of the DVD, and hopefully that works with my Windows 98 PC (a man can dream )
    Thanks for the help.

have you watched the DVD? If DVD Decrypter doesn't do it... kinda odd. DVD itself might have errors.

You might try ISO buster... it's shareware, but off the top of my head, that's a good recovery program for DVDs that are being touchy.
    Vol~

    thanks to Silverwmoon!

Yes, I have watched the DVD, on my PC, (but only the DVD Burner sees it and reads it just fine, but my old CD/DVD-rom doesn't even see it), it also works fine on my PS2. I'll take a look at the ISO Buster program, thanks for the help.

    UPDATE:
No luck, ISO Buster also gives me errors, I guess there is something wrong with the disc itself, by the way it's a DVD-R and the video size is about 3.8 Gbs, Oh well, thanks for the help.
