    Default DVD Burning

    Im Burning Some Videos to make a DVD butsomehow when it gets to 99% and says finishing burning... some thing will pop out saying cannot burn DVD an error has occured and the CD with eject itself and the burning failed, can anyone please help? it already happend 2 times, im using AVI. format vids, it was working well before i dont know what happened

    Jyuu perhaps he just calls his dvd media a cd. Either way perhaps you have not converted to .vob which is dvd format.

    Burning an AVI to a DVD will not make playable in most of the players..

    You need to convert the AVI to MPEG-2

    And if you are using nero it should do it for you, and paste the error, we are not seers to know what the hell is wrong: your computer, the files, the burning program or DVD media

    Amen... what program, what error, and (I guess we should ask) what kind of media... you did mean DVD, right? >_>

    DVDs you should be sure only to use first class media. Top of second class if absolutely necessary. I always buy Verbatums... saves me some headaches.

    Also, if it's only one AVI file, then look into AVI2DVD. That will convert to MPEG2 and set everything up for burning (if you create an image, then use ImgBurn to record the image to a DVD).

    uh yes.. sorry umm the program i use is windows dvd maker, and when its finalizing or finishing the burning process, a small window will pop out saying failed to complete disc then it stops and ejects the DVD disc, im burning an Anime series cause my comps gonna over load all of them were converted from rmvb to avi, also before avi. worked for my dvds and made quite a few now it just wont finish.
