    Default Wireless on a desktop

I use a desktop computer by HP, and I wanted to know if there is any way to make it use/be compatible with wireless internet. HP Pavilion Media Center. I cant find real specifics for it, but any of the same newer models (I got mine last october) should have simular stuff. Thanks for any help ^^

Umm I am not quite sure what you are asking seeing as you jump around a bit with you question, but from what I do get you want wireless connection on a desktop.

Well a modem which runs you internet connection has to be connected to a computer if I am not mistaken which in this case would be your desktop, but seeing as you don't want that you could buy a USB internet adapter. However those have to pick up signal form a router.

Can you reccomend some good quality : price >.> I'm kinda cheap... And something that will work well through walls. I'd say I'm about 10-15m away from the wireless, and its through a few walls.

Walls should not matter I think, The farther the better quite honestly, but just check the details about distance.

First things first. Do you have a router? What model? Wireless 802.11 legacy? a? b? g? pre-n? draft-n?

Also, what is in the walls? Concrete? Metal? Wood? Walls do matter a good bit, but moreso, the stuff making up the walls. And, the closer the better.
