    Default Sound issue

Not really a problem per se, but for some of the movies I download, the audio is really messed up (when I am using WMP11). For example, I would crank my speakers to max and the voices would be so quiet yet the background sounds are blasting.

The audio is fine if I play it using VLC (the voices and background noise are balanced properly) but since you cannot adjust the brightness, I can't really enjoy the movie either (it is too dark in most scenes).

I guess I need to tweak WMP11 or there is something wrong with my codecs, but I am not sure what needs to be done.

Without furter info is hard to tell whats the problem

but since you cannot adjust the brightness
Install FFDSHOW, there you can fix thoses on "Picture Properties"

But you must check that ffdshow will be your decoder in your player.

in MPC, all you have to do, is UNCHECK, the filter for the video inside Options > Internal Filters

That way it will use an external filter, and FFDSHOW will come into play..

Sorry can't help with the sound, but at least can help you view the movie^^

Ah okay, it was the AC3 settings. I adjusted them from the config but it didn't work. I didn't realize I had to adjust them while the movie was playing. Thanks for the help guys.
