    Question CCLEANER question

    I was doing an Issue Scans & found ActiveX/COM Issue, Installer Reference Issue, UnInstaller Reference Issue & Old Start Menu Key of softwares i uninstall. Is it okay for me to fix them without any side effcets on my pc?

    The answer is.... *probably* it's okay. It's really hard to tell without knowing a lot about your system and all the software on it. CCleaner hasn't messed up my system yet, but nobody will make any guarantees it won't mess up your system. Look over the entries and see if they make sense to remove (they don't correspond to programs you still use, etc.).

    CCleaner will ask you if you want to make a backup of those registry entries before it removes them. SAY YES. If something stops working, you can double click on that backup file to restore the registry entries (or right click and select merge), and hopefully that will fix it. If you're running XP, creating a system restore point wouldn't hurt.
