    Default Joining media files

Well I recently ripped a movie from a dvd onto my computer, but it was split into many different parts. How do I merge them all into one. Is there a program for things like this. Also I have to avi files I would also liek to merge any good program that does the trick. Freeware woudl be prefarble, but if I have to pay oh well.

Thanks a lot. Does it matter if I have Vista? I will try it out again thanks for the speedy response.
How come when I try to join the files it says that it has to be 001 split?

99.9999% of all programs compiled for x86 Windows-based OSes work on Windows Vista without any issues.

    ...

Redo the rip. Seriously, save yourself a looooooot of work.
If it made them multiple files, then you did something wrong (well not wrong... just not right... well, you must have set an option to set it that way).

Wait... what are the files? You aren't talking about VOBs are you?
Also, what would you like to end up with? AVI/OGM/MKV type files, or a image of the disk?
