    I don't... but I would if I had a new desktop. Sure would be nice... although I don't know how to back them up... image software doesn't work, does it?

    Could mirror, but that won't help if the system partition get's pooched. :/

    hmmm... maybe a small 80giger for the system formatted standard, then a big whoopass data RAID array... yeah... that would be nice.

    btw Jyuu, do you use RAID 0 (quick), RAID 1 (secure) or RAID 5 (lots of HDDs ) ??

    RAID 0 for my OSes and RAID 5 for the rest.

    I'm interested though just for the sake of trying it, but does RAID 0 makes big difference in any application?

    Noticeable performance increase when dealing with large files.
