    Default SCSI & RAID Driver

Well, I kinda updated my comp (wow, finally, been talking about this for months! XD) and for some odd reason I had to format.. bah.

Oh well, no problems, installed windows and all but now I lost all the drivers and such.

I am currently (yes, right now as I am posting this) downloading windows updates (currently at service pack 1) and such, installed an radeon drive and sound drives but I'm lacking the SCSI and RAID driver? not really sure if this will pop out as I keep updating but it would be great if I could get my sata drives to work.

    Restarting.... NOW!

    Edit*

Yeah, it started working, screw that SCSI and RAID driver.

But now about sound.. it's not working, even though I did try to get smth for it, anyone can help?

It's an AC97 real something.. not sure. something 97.

My motherboard is MSI k8t neo-v if that helps at all..

    Edit*

No wait, lol, I think I got it.. need to just restart once again..

No, Realtek AC'97 Audia via (R) audio controller. this is the one I remember, got it from MSI's site.

Anyway, Jyuu, recommend me some good firewall/anti-virus/spam (free) programs.

Currently got Sygate (pretty good IMO) and lol, avg for starters.. lmao, it was hard to get windows updates in the beggining, got few viruses instantly when I turned on the internet and they kept turning off the comp and freezing it.. now it's all ok.

    It's still a WDM driver.
    Windows Driver Model

As for an anti-malware software, I cannot recommend anything because I haven't used any of them for the past 5 years.
Spybot used to do it though. It prompted for your permission to allow any change to your system, but then Vista as it built-in this time.
If ever I am doubtful of a file, I just Jotti.
