    Default Windows Media Player problem

I use Windows Media Player 10, when I use it to play a file + a .srt file, the image is all stuttery, but the sound is perfect. However, if I use VLC media player, the image isn't stuttery at all and plays the file perfectly. I've recently installed K-Lite Codec Pack, when my sound wasn't working well, now it's the image that isn't working well :S. Please help!

    Uninstall K-Lite.
Uninstall any codecs you have (like DivX player, for example).
Install the k-Lite Mega codec pack.

Conflicts often cause issues... so clean as much as you can, then try again.

I always find ffdshow a useful all in one codec. However, if you choose to go this way, make sure you uninstall any previous versions of K-Lite. As Vol~ said before, it's better to start with a clean slate.
