ASUS is ASRock but they want the ASUS name to keep its good reputation and not to be associated with anything that's bad.
Well thanks for the help Jyuu. If I didnt post this I would have probably lost $135 Dollars. xD

It's hard to kill anything when overclocking if you are not over-voltaging too much.

im in total agreement with jyuu, i hope its not too late already, but evrything u listed on there except for the thermal paste and the proc is crap. Your just asking for that 20 dollar psu to fry ur stuff. Your gonna need to put out alot more than that if u wanna oc, and wheres ur heatsink? dont tell me u were polanning to oc with a stock heatsink? I dont even oc my comp and i use a decent heatsink to keep mine relatively cool. And didnt any1 tell u that agp is dead? especially if u want good stuff, agp is for the crap boards and other low end products, u need to upgrade to pci-e

Yeah, I was gonna go back to this topic again. I am saving up for a Core 2 Duo, and I need to know a good motherboard that is cheap, and will atleast break the 2.5 mark.

    You guys get it wrong.
The parts are certainly not crap. They aren't enthusiasts' goods but they are solid parts that won't die out easily. I've pulled great overclocks on low-end boards before (939 3200+ @ 2.93GHz, Pentium D 805 @ 4.2GHz) and using cheap Samsung (aka crap) RAM. It took me a lot of patience and careful tweaking (modifying the PWM itself) but it is possible to get good overclocks.
Nonetheless, even when you are not overclocking, an X2 3800+ is a VERY good processor. It won't bottleneck his system at all and that's a fact.
When you are looking at an X2, you must remember that it's more than fast enough for over 75% of gamers who are mostly stuck with single core 3200+ or crappy Pentium processors (single or dual core). The X2 3800+ is a very fast processor and only seems to be slow when you compare it to the faster ones. Apply that to real world non-synthetic performance and you have to admit that it is a great, solid, great value system.
