    What the fuck?
    I had a 5.9 with a dual-core CPU and now I only get a score of 5.4 with a quad-core?

Yeah.. with Vista being so new and all... Or maybe coz the quad core just doesn't have as high a clockspeed, which means that, as was said above, they're not fully ready with quad-core yet...

Ah well, maybe they just used a dual-threaded method instead of 4 threads...

Programmers have enough trouble developing for dual core systems more cores probably just makes it harder.
Lets no forget, more core does not necessarily mean faster processes, it just means more, so while it may have 4 cores, if the developer can't use those cores efficiently, then it might as well be a single core processor.

Uhh it's a RAID setup of two 150GB Raptor X hard drives then repartitioned into two for dual booting XP and Vista.
The other hard drives are all 500GB Western Digital server hard drives.

Hmmm, I'd be very interested in having an explanation for this. Since I'll be getting a new processor in less than a month. Post it up if you discover what's going on Jyuu.

did you compare that with the same version OS? or full version vs Beta (RC1 or 2) version?
probably they updated the score rating system, because I know in the beta versions the score rating kept changing whenever they released the updated beta.
