I wanted to get a Core 2 Duo but im not that rich so, I have to deal with this. Is Pentium D920 2.8GHz even good?

    What RAM do you have?
    DDR or DDR?

Do you already have a video card?
    AGP or PCI-E?

    Blah, this it tough.
With $200, you could easily get an ASUS board and an AMD X2 3800+ but it uses DDR2 and is PCI-E.
The fact that you already have RAM and an AGP video card costs you more since 939 boards with AGP are more expensive and the cheapest 939 X2 is $160 or so.
