    Default Need your help

    Im thinking about upgrading my hard Drive to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144701 <<<that. People say it is good for the price and the size, but I need to know it from people. My Money limit is $80 dollers and a reasonable ammount of memory. The people also said this hard drive would help in gaming how is this true? So if you know any better one please tell me.

    Well I am a stupid WD fan, so all my hard drives are WDs. x_x
    Seagates are a bit better. But I really don't care for warranty (heck, 1 day is enough for me) and speed-wise, I have the fastest 500GB hard drives out there, the server/RAID edition of the Western Digital 500GB and I only use them for storage.
    My daily PC has four of them and they are good enough and my benchmark PC has two Raptor X 150GB as primary drives and two WD 500GB as storage.

    Ha 500Gb. Me and my Friend were screwing around dell support and made a Dell XPS with 1.5TB Performance RAID 0 (2 x 750GB SATA 3Gb/s 7200 RPM HDDs) and a Intel® Core™2 Extreme QX6700 (8MB L2 Cache,2.66GHz,1066 FSB). We were basically making a super computer with stuff we didnt need and the final cost was about 10k.

    My QX6700, 2GB Corsair Dominator PC2-8888, SLI 8800GTX, two Raptor X 150GB in RAID, two 500GB HDD, SATA DVDRW, 1KW power supply system cost me only $5000.
    Dell? Overpriced.
