Default my desktop is cheating on me ><

well as you know, a while ago I placed a problem where I said that not matter what I did, I was unable to see the banner of my website. Today I was coding a whole new page for my website and the link that leads to it is not visible.

Can someone help me? this only happend on my desktop and everytime I go to view-source the code for the link and banner aren't there.

is it a virus or something is really #$#@$ with computer?

ps: I use fire fox and IE I get same results.( the link was <a href="ad.php">angel densentsu</a>)

    link: http://www.infernox.net/

I don't think is the cache because i clean it almost every day and it couldn't be a bug on my browser because both IE and Fire fox do the same.

my laptop works like an angel (same ip) I don't have this problems even when I use my school computers.

It sure does sound like an ad blocker, something that strips out any html that contains things looking like an ad (like "ad.php"). Have you noticed missing ads on other web sites?

If you don't have a stand-alone ad blocker, perhaps one was installed along with something like a firewall or antivirus, or some security suite (like maybe one your ISP gave you).

omg thanks a lot >< norton was blocking the banner and link, but the only bad thing is that I have to disable internet protection so I can see it. Is there anyway for me to tell norton to show my banner?

I'm sure there is an exceptions list somewhere in the firewall or pop-up options. Just have to add your site as an allow all kinda thing.

Or maybe you could change the site to not seem so add-ish. :P

    add-ish?

I don't get it, Either way ad.php isn't an ad is a whole new page of my site. my laptop has the same norton install on it. I'll look around to see what I can do about it.
