    Default coding username and password.

ok, firs of all i don't know if this is the right place to put this at but I couldn't think of a better place to do so.

I'm making a website and I want to add the option of making the user able to subscribe to it, but i can't find the codes on how to do it.

for example i would like to make it just like stoptazmo where you enter your mail , password, username and you get a mail send to your self where you have a link you are supposted to click so your subcripstion is accepted.

does anyone know the codes on how to do this or knows a website where i can go to? (my teacher of webdesign has a "major on dreamweaver" fuck that") lol

get a forum like phpbb or vbulletin (like this one), and take inspiration from it...

or you can make it yourself in php+mysql by example, it's not really complicated, but unless you want to make it pretty basic there is no interest to reinvent the wheel

edit : html is not sufficient here ;p

Hmm.. all you need is basics of database and a little of html.. that will do.
By the way, w3school is one of the best place you can learn online..there are also sites which have html/php/asp/aspx codes for example hotscripts.com

    Default ok........

first of all i know HTML, JavaScrip(some of it) and css. Teacher never show you the important stuff just the trashy basics and them jump to use dreamweaver lol.

i know i have to do a form and i know how to make the info be send to my mail, but i don't want that. I want the user to be able to sumit his info and my website to automatically do everything without me having to add the user and password to my website.

    Default omg

thats why i said that i think this is the best place where to post my question. the website part of the forum says is only for showing your website to other users not to ask for tech help on coding.

oops sry you said "website forums" i don't know of any and this is the only forum i'm active at.

as i said, you can automatically treat the form and send the email with php..

it should be doable in javascript, but i think php is the way to go
