    Default my comp is dumb, help -_-

    either the comp is dumb or its me!!!!

    well, here's my problem

    1) i cant seem to install any asian languages (Thai, Japanese, Korean, etc) on the system. it keep saying that i am unable to copy some certain item, and the process failed... what the hell is wrong with my computer?? oh, i'm using the XP pro 06 version 7 thingy.....
    2) my comp is a baby!!!! when i shut down the PC, and try to turn it back on, IF ONE LITTLE THING was different than when i shutted it down, it will say "Fail starting OS" .... stuff like if my eternet cable is not plugged in(but when i logged off, it was), USBs, Hardware, PCI card, u name it -_- if one tiny little thing is different, it will fail the start.... T_T help ;;

    The language packs thing usually requires that you put your Windows XP disc in, then install.

    As for your other problem, no clue.


    You probably need to totally reinstall Windows or something... Have fun with that...

    1.) When it asks you where to find the files, just direct it to c:\windows\system32\i386 or c:\windows\i386 (I can't really remember where the i386 folder is. It is a hidden protected folder). If that folder doesn't exist, well.. you'll have to get your xp cd.

    2.) Uh.. try reinstalling all the drivers. Go to device manager, uninstall all of them one by one. Don't delete those found under "non plug-and-play devices". Restart. You should get "Found new hardware" messages, which will reinstall the drivers. Hopefully that'll get you going again.
