Default This is gonna kill me!!!

hi all....i really hope that you would help me in this one....first of all i have Windows XP and my Internet connection is ADSL cable....the picture below displays the error that always kicks me from the internet and the connection icon in the system tray appears but with no transactions!!......besides that...when i try to reboot the system it freezes in the "log off" screen!!!

so can you plz help me?...i am starting to doubt that i have a hardware problem!!! "i am suspecting the Hardisk and the RAM chip since sometimes a blue screen appears bluffing about the physical memory and i know that it is a RAM problem but this one is different!!!

Uh yeah, if blue screens appear it MIGHT be a hardware problem, but not necessarily. There's still hope.

Try running sfc /scannow from the Run command from the start menu. That should find any dlls that are not in the correct version. Remember that svchost (Generic Host Processes for Win32 Services) is one of XP's core components, and loads many dlls.

Also, run a disk check, might be a filesystem error that keeps popping up... run chkdsk /f .

Furthermore, that netapi32.dll shown in the error report seem to be an important part for network communications in windows. You can find that file in C:\Windows\System32\ .
